He holds a master's and a bachelor's degree in International Relations from the Institute of International Relations at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro. As part of his undergraduate studies, he also attended one semester at Georgetown University, under an academic exchange program. Over the past seven years, he has collaborated on different academic and/or applied research projects on Brazilian and international nuclear policy and governance. His areas of research and interest include Brazilian and global nuclear governance, international organizations, theories of International Relations and science and technology studies.
