FGV Student Organizations

Academic Directory Getulio Vargas (DAGV)
The student representation organization of the São Paulo School of Business Administration (FGV EAESP) and the São Paulo School of Economics (FGV EESP) of the Getulio Vargas Foundation.
Founded in 1956, DAGV is located on the 1st floor of the FGV building and its history is mixed with the Administration course and Student Movement in the country.
The pioneering spirit of the faculty is inseparable from the active and purposeful role characteristic of the Academic Directory. DAGV's participation in decision-making bodies is unparalleled in scope to other institutions. In addition to academic proposals, DAGV is famous for the importance and renown of its large projects and events.

Candaces Feminist Collective of the Getulio Vargas Foundation
The Collective has the role of evidencing feminism by calling attention to each act in the expectation of saying "enough" to the oppression suffered by women, understanding that stopping oppressive behaviors becomes possible when oppression is perceived, disseminated and deconstructed.
CANDACES has as a priority the internal training of members, the interaction with the GVnian community and the relationship with other movements for the expansion of women’s issues in other university contexts and in society as a whole. The training includes reading texts with discussions, debates on suggested topics, conducting research and studies that address feminism.
Female oppression is very common in the university environment, as is the delegitimization of women who are oppressed. We hold events with specialists, exhibit materials that address the theme and carry out interventions (intelligent, informative, creative, shocking, funny, artistic, among others) in the GVnian daily life. We work on the institutionalization of the theme in the daily life of FGV, either through internal policies to protect the worker or student, insertion of the theme academically and institutionalization of the collective itself. For the group, it is important to exchange experiences with all the other agents involved in this struggle, including other collectives (university students or not), unions, research centers, NGOs, Secretariats, among others, for dialogue and positioning in society.

LGBT Collective Getulio Vargas Delta (GVA)
Founded on November 8, 2011, we are a student association with the aim of promoting respect for human diversity, be it sexuality, gender identity or corporeality. Our mission is to promote a culture of appreciation and respect for differences, making them sources of inclusion in the FGV community.

FGV Cursinho
Non-profit project, founded in 2013, created and managed by undergraduate students in Public Administration at Fundação Getulio Vargas. Its goal is to offer a totally free pre-university entrance course to low-income students who have completed or are attending the third year of high school in public schools. Thus, the intention is to increase the opportunity for this public to enter higher education.

Social Connection
Student entity linked to the Getulio Vargas Foundation, managed by students from the college itself and open to courses at FGV from SP. The entity carries out projects related to social responsibility. The aim is to bring students closer to Brazilian society through real experiences that break the isolation of young people in relation to reality, created by the format of traditional teaching.
We start from the premise that the Foundation is a center of excellence in the training of future leaders of Brazilian society. Thus, we believe in the potential of young people as an agent of social transformation and we hope that students are aware of their own capacity for change. Aiming to achieve its objectives, the entity carries out projects related to environmental and social sustainability, unfolding in lectures, debates and interventions in the faculty and in the community.

Junior Company Fundação Getulio Vargas
Offers personalized strategic consulting projects, incorporating FGV’s technical quality and seeking to construct collaborations of knowledge with clients.
The Junior Company founded in 1988 has the mission of promoting the growth of young people capable of delivering impactful solutions by making it the challenge of each client.

Gazeta Vargas
Student magazine founded in 1998, produced by students from the Business Administration, Public Administration, Law, Economics and International Relations schools at FGV from SP. Dedicated to the publication of content on subjects related to Fundação Getulio Vargas itself and to themes in the scope of politics, literature, cinema and other subjects.

GV Cult
