Micro-spatial history. Towards a new Global history?

Christian De Vito presents his paper Micro-spatial history. Towards a new Global history?. De Vito is an associate researcher at University of Leicester and Fellow at the International Institute of Social History (IISH) of Amsterdam. In this interview, De Vito presents the concept of micro-spatial history. According to him through this concept it is possible to understand the specificities and differences of individual places, as well as the connections between them. This allows a translocal analysis of history that can be used to understand, for example, the power distributions between the Global North and the Global South.
