Fatal Misconception: The Struggle to Control World Population

Matthew Connelly, professor from Columbia University, presents his book, Fatal Misconception. In this interview, Connelly advocates the rewriting of global history in a way that covers its complexity and various actors, previously reduced to nation states. Therefore, his work seeks to point out the role, for example, of non-governmental bodies in the emergence and development of population control global policies, as well as the dialogue with national systems within that rising movement.
