The European Union in a changing security environment

With the recent economic and political changes in Europe, especially in the Mediterranean region, new security challenges begin to emerge. Considering this scenario, FGV’s International Relations’ Center invites Thanos Dokos to debate this changing arena in Europe. Thanos Dokos holds a PhD in International Relations from the University of Cambridge and he is Director-General of the Hellenic Foundation for European & Foreign Policy. For Dokos, the main challenge for the European Union now is to redesign its southern policy, identifying its areas of priority in order to deal with the region’s problems.
