The BRICS and the Future of Global Order

The BRICS, with Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa as its members, is a political grouping that is increasing its performance area and with a great collaborative capacity – as witnessed in 2014, when BRICS Member States criticized the political and economic isolation that Western countries wanted to impose upon Russia. We invited Professor Oliver Stuenkel, who recently launched his book “The BRICS and the Future of Global Order”, to talk about the importance of the BRICS in the international system as well as Brazil’s role in the group.
