Rodrigo Fagundes Cezar

Assistant Professor

Rodrigo Fagundes Cezar is an Assistant Professor at Fundação Getulio Vargas’s School of International Relations. He holds a Ph.D. in International Relations/Political Science at the Graduate Institute of International and Development Studies (IHEID), in Geneva, Switzerland. During his Ph.D., he visited at the University of North Carolina and the European University Institute. His research interests are in the fields of International Political Economy, International Institutions, and Transnational Governance. More specifically, his work analyzes the design of sustainable development provisions in preferential trade agreements and compliance in World Trade Organization (WTO) disputes involving environmental protection. His work has appeared in journals such as Environmental Politics and World Trade Review.
