Pedro Brites

Teaching Professor and Deputy Head of Undergraduate Studies

Pedro Brites is a professor at the Fundação Getúlio Vargas´s School of International Relations. He is currently deputy coordinator of the undergraduate degree in international relations at FGV. Former General Director of the South American Institute of Policy and Strategy (ISAPE). His research areas include International Relations of Asia, Global South, International Political Economy, International Political Philosophy. Dr. Brites holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations and a Ph.D. in International Strategic Studies at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS). He is currently working on the organization of the book World on Crisis, on international politics in the decade after the 2007-8 Global financial crisis.
