This project explores new computational approaches to archival sources. Currently the project is analyzing 5,700 documents from the Central Intelligence Agency's electronic archive to track variations in U.S. government interest in Brazil between 1969 and 1989. The first product of this project was a workshop, "Big Data for Big Questions: A New Path for the History of International Relations in the Era of Information Profusion," which took place on 26 March 2018.
