Winter course - Cinema and the Middle East conflict

The Center for International Relations at FGV based on CPDOC, performs the winter course "Cinema and the Middle East conflict." The purpose of it is to present and analyze some films and documentaries that depict the local cinema in the conflict region. "The Syrian Bride", "Lemon Tree", "Laila's Birthday", "Paradise Now", "5 Broken Cameras" and "The Gatekeepers", three Israeli and three Palestinian works, are then selected to address representations and interpretations made ​​on the stage of the conflict between Israelis and Palestinians over the last decade, as well as its relations with the Middle East in general. The course is offered as an elective. Composes 30 hours or 2 credits and is intended for all students of all grades of FGV well as for MBA students in International Relations.
