Great Winner of the II Paulínia Cinema Festival, including best movie.

"Blue Eyes" tells the story of Marshall (David Rasche), head of the Migration Department at JFK International Airport, in New York. In his last day of work before retirement, he detains a group of latin-americans and expose them to several constraining situations. Blind by his own prejudice, Marshall cannot understand the consequences of his act. Years afterwards, there is an inversion of roles, and Marshall is now a foreigner in Brazil, obsessed by his desire to find a young girl at the interior of the northeast of Brazil.

After the film there was a debate between the director José Joffilly, CPDOC researcher Ludmila Ribeiro and Dr. Elena Lazarou.
