"India’s Priorities as an Emerging Power" - Lecture by B.S. Prakash, Ambassador of India to Brazil 

Ambassador B.S. Prakash has been stationed in Brazil since 2008 and he is a career diplomat since 1975. He has worked in Germany, Saudi Arabia and Austria, performing several tasks. He was an Ambassador to Uganda (1998-2001) and Chief-Minister of the Mission to Sri Lanka (1995-98). He has also directed the UN Division at India's Ministry of Foreign Relations and served at Consul-General of India at the West Coast of the United Staed. He also represented India in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and dealt frequently with issues such as disarmament, conflict resolution and peacekeeping operations. The lecture was mediated by Dr.Cláudio Costa Pinheiro (CPDOC).
