The School of Social Sciences / CPDOC in partnership with the School of Applied Mathematics (EMAP) invite you to a lecture on "Deleting the Archive: Will the Challenge of 'Big Data' Mean the End of History as We Know It," to be given by Professor Matthew Connelly, next Monday 5th, 14.08 days, at 16h, in room 317, the headquarters of FGV. 
 
The lecture will focus on the challenges of archival research, from the case of the American Department of State, since the produced volumes of information have grown exponentially. What types of computational tools exist that can developed for the treatment of such files?
